I have a new border collie puppy and need to lighten my load. So I am giving
away my 1.5 year old trio of fawn runner ducks. There is one male and 2
females. They are 1.5 years old and the girls are in lay and produce jumbo
sized eggs. Unlike roosters, male ducks do not make a lot of noise. Their needs
for safety from predators are the same as chickens and they need a bowl of
water deep enough to dip their beaks in as well as the usual duck or chicken
feed. They like a tiny kiddy pool of water once in a while to play in. but are
satisfied without it as long as the tub for water lets them dunk in their heads.
They can be picked up in Balmont and I have about 40 lbs of feed left to send
with them also. Let me know if you would like them and can provide a home for
them.
