I enjoyed reading all the creative ways of collecting grey water and reducing the amount of water we use inside. The main reason we are in this situation is that we use too much water during the whole growing season. We are now in stage 4, one level above the state drought level, because we draw too much water in total and per person per day. Otherwise we would still be allowed to water once a week which would make a huge difference in this heat!
How can we find ways to reduce water usage before we get into this situation again next year? Can we come up with year round changes, not just react to stage 4 bans? Ursula
