Hello all Lincolnites who knew my mother, My mother Jane "Jinx" Ward died this past July, a couple of weeks short of her 89th birthday. She lived independently -- having moved from the Old Concord Road house to a Ridge Road apartment in 2017 -- until the end and left this life on her terms, as she had always told me she would.
I have been letting word leak out without any general announcement until now. There will be a memorial service for her tomorrow, Sunday 10/2, at 2:00 at Bemis Hall. All are welcome.
