Hi there,

Some info about Salvation Army and Goodwill before you decide to donate! While
Salvation Army provides lots of important services to lots of communities, if
you can donate elsewhere, I would suggest it! They (the corporation) have been
known to donate lots of money to anti-LGBTQ lobbyists and other organizations
targeting children’s well being and trans healthcare generally. Goodwill has
also notoriously mistreated and underpaid its disabled employees, paying them
under 3 dollars an hour and other mistreatment.

Article (among many) about Goodwill mistreatment:

(not the greatest articles I know but there are multiple addressing the same
concerns, and I’ve heard personal accounts of both!)

What’s accessible to you is accessible to you, just some info to take into
consideration.

Best,
Elias
