Depending on what you mean by “local,” I highly recommend Aaron White, whose office is in Worcester. He's sharp, responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Since moving back to Boston, I’ve conducted business with him only by email and phone, and we never missed a beat. He started doing my sister’s taxes remotely a few years ago, and she’s had a great experience, too.
