On January 12, the Lincoln School Committee accepted the recommendation of the Superintendent Search Subcommittee to advance the following candidates forward in the search process:
Michael Caira, currently Assistant Superintendent, Ashland Public Schools Annette Doyle, currently Principal, Peter Noyes Elementary School, Sudbury Parry Graham, currently Assistant Superintendent, Wayland Public Schools Jess Rose, currently Assistant Superintendent, Lincoln Public Schools Superintendent Becky McFall announced in October that she will retire the end of June after 11 years leading the Lincoln Public School District. The next step in the process is for each finalist to spend a day visiting Lincoln schools and meeting with staff, students, and parents/community members. This ‘day in the district’ is partially to help the finalists learn more about the district and our communities to inform their decision making. It is also an opportunity for us to learn more about each finalist. We have scheduled an open forum for all LPS parents, caregivers and community members at 6:00 PM on each visit day in the school auditorium. For those unable to attend the forum in person, we will provide a Zoom link. Thursday, January 19 – Parry Graham Monday, January 23 – Michael Caira Tuesday, January 24 – Annette Doyle Thursday, January 26 – Jessica Rose During this forum, the finalists will introduce themselves, provide a brief statement of their interest in the position, then engage in a conversation with those present. This time is not to be an interview, but rather an exchange of questions and ideas. While we may ask the finalist questions, the finalist may wish to ask those present questions as well. School Committee will conduct a final public interview with each finalist. The interviews are set for January 30th, 31st, February 1st and 2nd at 6:00 pm in the School District Offices Multipurpose Room. The interviews will be streamed live via Zoom. While the interview is in public, these are not public interviews. Only School Committee members will be able to engage with the finalist.
