Massport is planning work for this Summer that will increase truck traffic on
Route 2A and maybe Virginia Road.
Runway 5-23 south of Runway 11-29 is scheduled for rehabilitation during summer
of 2023. Additional project information will be available once the project team
has been selected. January 2023: The advertising date is February 15th with
scheduled bid opening on March 8th. The project is estimated to begin on June 1
and take approximately 35 days.
The project team has not been finalized so additional details are not yet
available.
