This does not answer your question directly, but we recently renovated and put in an (electric) induction stove. It has the quick responsiveness of a gas stove and it is much easier to clean because of it’s glass-like top. Yes, we had to buy a few new pots because it won’t work with aluminum. Highly recommend.
