It is a piece of art, commissioned by the previous owners, Silke and Sydney Moss. They (owners, for many years, of Le Pli in Cambridge and at the 4Seasons) were very involved in supporting the local contemporary art scene, and had a wonderful personal collection. This was a piece they commissioned when they had the pond built.
