Good evening, The Select Board meets tomorrow night (Monday 3/6) at 6:30pm. Most of the meeting is focused on preparations for the March 25th Annual Town Meeting, but the first appointment is with the Community Center Building Committee. After that, the Planning Board and the Green Energy Committee will both be joining us to talk about their respective articles on the Town Meeting warrant:
6:30pm: Community Center Building Committee: Recommendation to award designer services contract. 7:00pm: Planning Board will give an overview of articles #25, #26, #27, and #28 #25: Cluster Development - intent is to align Lincoln bylaw with state law with respect to the way the Town requires developers to provide open space. #26: Accessory Apartments - intent is to simplify the existing bylaw to make it easier to create an accessory apartment. #27: Mixed Use District in Lincoln Station - Planning Board intends to pass over this article and address issues in the “B2” zone as part of Housing Choice Act planning #28: Wireless Communications District - align Lincoln bylaw with Federal law. 7:30pm: The Green Energy Committee will provide an overview of articles #29 and #30. #29: Adopt the state’s Opt In Specialized Stretch Building Code #30: Participate in a 10-town pilot program banning fossil fuel systems in new construction and major renovations.
