I realize it's "moderator's church, moderator's rules", but I would ask the moderators to consider indulging a *little *back and forth (moderate and respectful, of course) leading up to Town Meeting. We have found over the years that hashing on lincoln-talk tends to make TM debates on the topics less down-in-the-weeds. In other words, some tolerated messiness on lincoln-talk makes town meetings run better. Residents can press "skip" or "mute" on their email inbox, but they can't do that at Town Meeting. (When someone finally invents that technology for an in-person town meeting, it will be a game changer.)
