Both merit based and need based scholarships and awards are available. A
brief summary of the scholarships and awards offered is provided below.
More information can be found on the Lincoln Scholarship Committee website.

● Lincoln Community Scholarships: These are one-time only scholarships
dependent on the contributions of Lincoln residents to the scholarship
fund. They generally range
between $1000 and $2000 per scholarship. These scholarships take into
account need, (as demonstrated on the FAFSA forms submitted with college
applications), as well as
academic and extracurricular records. They are open only to Lincoln
residents.

● The Ogden Codman Scholarship: This scholarship offers $5,000, renewable
for up to
four years. The scholarship has a broadly-based set of criteria
including financial need (as demonstrated on the FAFSA forms), leadership
qualities, and academic achievement. This scholarship is only open to
Lincoln residents.

● The Codman Opportunity Scholarship: This scholarship offers $2,500,
renewable for
up to four years. Financial need (FAFSA forms), student potential, and
commitment to success in a specific field or trade are the primary
considerations for this scholarship. This scholarship is only open to
Lincoln residents.

● The Harriet Todd Scholarship: This scholarship, a gift from the bequest
of Harriet
Backus Todd, is offered in honor of her devotion to public service and
volunteerism. The scholarship is for $5000 and is renewable for one year.
This scholarship is open to those graduating from Lincoln Sudbury Regional
High School, Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical School, or other
vocational school if the tuition is paid for by the Town of
Lincoln. Eligible students must have completed a minimum of grades 5
through 8 in the Lincoln or Hanscom schools and must be residents of the
Town of Lincoln or Hanscom Air ForceBase, or who attend Lincoln Public
Schools through the METCO Program or as children of Town of Lincoln
Employees.

Awards:
● The Fanny Campbell Award for Academic Achievement, $500
● The Sumner Smith Award for Community Service, $500
