Naturally, it depends what they like.  Having said that, in Lowell, I
highly recommend the boat tour of the canals.  Here in Lincoln, the
DeCordova is beyond compare.  On the North Shore, Halibut Point is an all
time fav.  Back in the city, to the best of my knowledge, the Mapparium is
one of a kind and amazingly cool.  It's in the Christian Science Center so
it's polite to stay and listen to the pitch, but well worth it from my
perspective.
