Quick ideas - Right around here:
A swim in Walden pond - maybe coupled with a visit to Thoreau’s cabin, then
pick up food for dinner at Codman farm shop
Canoe or Kayak on the Charles - you can start in Waltham “Charles River Canoe &
Kayak"
there are also dinner cruised on the Charles
The kids might enjoy a stop at a large shopping mall
Depending on the age and inclination of the teenagers - a tour of MIT or
Harvard with time to hang out in the square, shop at the Coop or a smaller
beautiful campus like Wellesley
Summer Evening concerts:
Hatch Shell - Boston
Cambridge Crossing
Lexington - Fridays
Tanglewood - In July there are coule James Taylor evening - a ragtime concert
etc, etc--
