Saturday Hours As of Saturday, September 10, the Lincoln Library is open on Saturdays from 10am – 5:00pm. Regular Saturday hours will continue through June 25, 2023. Sunday Hours The Lincoln Library is currently closed on Sundays. Regular Sunday hours will begin again in the fall. Our current challenge will run throughout the month of March. The Lincoln Library Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Challenge <https://www.lincolnpl.org/services/readers-services/reading-challenges> Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month is celebrated each year from May 1–31. Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander voices through reading. Log your reading and activities here to earn badges all month long. Join him for a talk about his new guidebook, Beer Hiking in New England, which showcases a wide variety of fun beer hikes in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, from easy walks to moderate ramble and strenuous climbs. Carey will talk about the stunning scenery that awaits you and the breweries and brewpubs nearby that’ll quench your thirst at the end of your hike. He also has a few interesting tales to tell about the beer hiking journey. Carey Kish is a seasoned hiker, outdoors writer, beer enthusiast and longtime New England denizen. Kish has hiked the 2,190-mile Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine (twice), the 1,100-mile Florida Trail and the 2,654-mile Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada. Taylor is a James Beard Award–nominated food writer, master home cook, and producer. She has written for the New York Times, Bon Appétit, and Food & Wine. Nicole is the author of The Up South Cookbook and The Last O.G. Cookbook. She is the executive producer of If We So Choose, a short documentary about the desegregation of an iconic southern fast food joint. Nicole is the cofounder of The Maroon, a marketplace and retreat house focused on radical rest for Black creatives. She lives in New York City and Athens, Georgia, with her husband and son.
