Hello people of Lincoln,
I'm inquiring about housing and possibly helping out as a property
caretaker and/or helping out a senior citizen. I know these kinds of
things are usually shared word of mouth so I'm reaching out to you. I have
worked in Lincoln and have ties to friends and musicians at St. Joseph
Church.

For the last several years I've been a property caretaker, doing all yard
work, hedge trimming, lawn mowing, working with needed contractors, etc. to
help out property owner in order to keep my rent lower while paying off
doctoral loans While in grad school I also lived with an elderly retired
professor and helped her in her home. The property where I live is getting
sold. I'm looking for a small house where I could care for the property or
a two-bedroom apartment in a two-family house, or in-law apartment, perhaps
with a senior upstairs who might need some help in order to stay in their
home. I can do shopping, run errands, care for the house/yard - with some
lowered rent for this work. I'm a school chaplain, religion professor, and
part-time organist - and have great references. (I'm not available to be a
live-in assistant.). Would also consider long-term house sitting.

I'd love to keep living in the area.
Thanks for any assistance in finding someone who might benefit from a
renter like me! (I come with my own leafblower and hedge trimmer... : )

My best,
Mary Kantor
