Belinda Gingrich is a great support to the Lincoln Green Energy Community and Lincoln generally in this area - - you may want to check with her directly. I used Solarflair Energy, Inc. <https://solarflair.com/residential/index/>, some years ago after Lincoln ran a vetting process that looked at multiple potential vendors and selected Solarflair to make a discounted town-wide offering. I found them very good to work with. That recommendation may be a bit stale now, but I offer it for what it's worth. One more point: When you get a price quote from a vendor, you might want to run the financial model they probably will offer both (A) with and instead (B) without the assumption that you will sell the renewable energy credits that would be generated by your system. If you choose option B, you then will be truly increasing the amount of renewable energy fed into our electric grid, whereas if you choose option A, you probably are not (although there may still be other good reasons to go ahead). You will be free to stop or resume selling or not selling those credits at any time during your ownership, but it's probably best to think about this up front, especially if part of your motivation for adding solar panels is to reduce your contribution to climate change.
