Always a wonderful surprise when the PRIME truck delivers to us!

This week we received cartons of pasta sauce, clam chowder and some dish
detergent. These are always critically needed! Then, the bins at the food
pantry had boxes of wonderful cereal, paper towels and some condiments.
Thank you, all, for your kindness. All of these items are always
appreciated and high on our "wish list".

The need for food continues to increase and our biggest distributor is
facing staffing issues, so some of our most important protein items are
likely to be unavailable, sometimes available at a high price, and/or
packaged in bulk too large for our clients' freezers.

The Lincoln Agricultural Commission is, again this summer, working with our
local farmers. Waltzing Matilda Egg Farm, Codman Farm, Drumlin Farm and
Hannan Healthy Food have been supplying us with their fresh fruits,
vegetables and eggs. Kanner Orchard, growers of apples and peaches and
Matlock Farm, the high quality corn producers will be donating in season.
All of these farms supply us with incredible products that our clients rave
about. This summer, we equal the best farm stand and this innovative
program deserves applause for their innovative work!

Land's Sake, in Weston, also, again this year, supplies us with great
produce. And remember, Donelan's Supermarket, for years, has supplied us
with bakery goods and houses a food bin for donations. Please support all
of these wonderful businesses.

The need increases. This week, alone, we signed up 3 new families, and
remember, during the critical summer months, we feed clients with children
who are home.

Remember, when you are shopping, even one bottle of salad dressing, one box
of cereal, one jar of pasta sauce, one can of tuna helps us to supply our
many families. The blue bins are on the porch of the St. Joseph House, 142
Lincoln Road (rear).

Monetary donations help us immensly. We are SVdP, P. O. Box 324, Lincoln,
MA 01773.

Thank you all.
