On MONDAY, 8/14 at 6:30 pm we’ll round up some of our meat chickens that
have been enjoying the green pasture on Mt. Misery in their mobile coops.
You can park on the road next to Lindentree farm and walk for about 5
minutes along the farm roads over to the coop area. See the map below.

We have around 500 birds to catch in their mobile coops so it should be a
quick catch with enough folks. Don't forget we are catching meat birds not
laying hens ...so less running around to catch and more lifting of crates
onto the trailer.

   -

   No experience is necessary!
   -

Repeat chicken catchers: come join the fun again - your help is greatly
   appreciated!
   -

Families welcome -- kids under 14 can come but usually this task is best
   for older kids.

**Please note that for this task we kindly ask for active volunteers only,
with an “all hands on deck” attitude — no spectators please. We thank you
for understanding. If you are interested in learning about our process but
not able to be part of the chicken catch, please consider joining one of
our farm tour events! Contact us <[email protected]> or check out our classes
and events
