Hi,

I am not sure of the current status of this poor bird but know you can always place a first call to the animal control officer.

Jennifer Condon serves as the animal control officer for the Town of Lincoln. Contact the Lincoln Police Department at 781-259-8113 with any concerns or questions and the Animal Control Officer will call you back as soon as possible.

Newhouse Wildlife Rescue in Chelmsford is currently closed to new intakes sadly. Cape Ann is open but ACO is great first triage…

We were walking along south great road by Hannan farms and a young red tail sitting on a fence post took off and immediately took a header into the road. I shooed it back to the side. Looks like a broken wing. Last I saw it it was settling down for the evening on the porch railing of 280 south great rd.

I’m assuming by the time this gets posted and morning rolls around nature will likely have taken it’s course … on the chance it hasn’t, is there any organization that rescues hurt raptors?
