Hi Michelle,

I believe that the Textile Bins managed by Bay State textiles take stuffed animals, currently apparently referred to as “stuffies.” You can call Bay State during their business hours & leave a message as needed; someone will return your call & answer any specific questions. There is also a detailed list of items they accept on their website. (Note: stuffed animals are listed as acceptable under the LINENS heading.) They do not accept foam—perhaps separate out any stuffed animals clearly made with foam.

Hope this helps!

 Dear Lincoln Talk,

This is a subset of the rather large and varied stuffed animal collection we have:

Free to anyone who wants it, but I’m also wondering how would I recycle them as I know most if not all nonprofits won’t take stuffed animals. Would I put them in the textile recycle bin? I’m guessing no since not all are stuffed with filament I’m guessing.

Any leads for not having this all go into land full are much appreciated!

Happy to provide more photos if anyone wants to see what all is available.

Thanks,
