The issue is perhaps a complicated one, yet the roads have gotten far more dangerous in recent years, due to apps that show cut-throughs, and due to the lack of enforcement in all towns, not just Lincoln. Lincoln used to have a reputation for extreme adherence to speed laws, back when the speed bump was on Lincoln Rd. Walking along roads in the center of town should not be a hazard. On many town roads there are no sidewalks, so controlling speed is our only chance to make the town safe for walkers or bikers. Other towns are tackling the problem, we should as well. Complicated looks very simple when compared to a life threatening injury.
