I recently contacted Windriver to pump my septic system. Setting up the appointment was easy and the person I spoke with was pleasant. They however, did not mention they had coupons in effect. Only when I inquired about such did they provide the discount; ($50.00).
Problems began the day of the appointment. They emailed me the day before and again the morning of that they would be there in the AM. However, they did not show up until around 3:30pm. They did not communicate the change in scheduling; I spent the entire day at the house waiting for them. When I called them around noon time after they failed to arrive for the AM appointment, they informed me I had been rescheduled to the afternoon due to an emergency. They were however, unable to provide a time and had no other information other than it would be some time that day. I informed them this was unacceptable and it would be unlikely I would use them again. Shortly after this conversation, a manager called me. He was *unempathtic *to my waiting around for them all day and was not overly concerned about the lack of communication with the customer. He just said I didn't need to be there. On the positive side, the young tech who finally came, Gabrielle, was great. He worked hard and finally go the job done.
