Staci,

A few suggestions:

*_Wellscroft Fence Systems_* (www.wellscroft.com) -- They don't install fencing but appear to supply much of the fencing material used in this area.  You could consult them about what fencing options would provide security for your garden and they can also provide a list of fence installers.  Of course, they hope you'll buy the materials from them but I think the installers buy material from them so it works out. They're very helpful. This spring, I needed fencing installed to protect sheep. Wellscroft provided me with the names of 4 installers (see below). Note that these are folks who install fencing for livestock, farms.  They may also install other kinds of fencing.  My impression is that fence installers (at least good ones) tend to be SWAMPED, especially since they can only work when the ground is not mud, not frozen.  Only 2 returned my calls and only one actually submitted a bid and he was booked 2-3 months out.  Now would be a good time to schedule the work if you'd like it done by next spring.

_/*New England Post & Rail*/_ -- This spring, I hired them to install a combination of woven wire and electrified high tensile wire to protect sheep. They did a good job in general but with some glitches, which they promptly addressed.  I'd hire them again. Contact me if you'd like to see the fence and discuss the cost and the glitches.

_/*Hannan Agro*/_, the farm/farm stand over on 117) - This has a deer fence.  You might contact Mohammed ([email protected], 617-959-0748) or drop by the farm.

_/*Pollinator "meadow"*/_ - This has a deer fence. I'm not sure whom to contact for info. Someone at the Lincoln Land Conservation Trust or the Conservation Dept. would probably know.

Good luck,
Karen
