A bit more info: there will be live performances by Urbanity Dance and original compositions for classical guitar, and topics range from "What is your relationship to chaos?" to, "What Babe Ruth and the Boston Red Sox Can Teach Us about Solving Global Warming." I am particularly proud that we will also hear about innovative ways of challenging inner city youth to see themselves as cultural and musical change-makers rather than just consumers- and how one small community music school does just that- by teaching all music theory classes and lessons using only music from the African Diaspora.
