| Interesting idea, but I would like to hear from a wide range of citizens- a town hall event of old. Small social gatherings are lovely, but don’t lead to tough questions and candid dialog- we all tend to be on “ best behavior.”
In my past, we used to use such coffees to persuade, to cajole, to “ sell” a candidate, not to engage in debate, not to hear other’s opinions.
We need an open forum, not more of a hour or so of sharing of plans from the CCBC, with 15 minutes allocated to “ citizen input.”

Starting October 19th, we will host an informal / at home gathering
every week (alternating weekly between 7pm and 11:00am slots) in a
Lincoln home. We will serve refreshments and members of the Community
Center Planning Committee will be present to answer your questions. We hope that you choose to attend.
