The proposed HCA zoning includes a 10% affordable units requirement. Our existing zoning has a 15% affordable requirement; the town was not able to prove that this is economically feasible. The HCA does permit us to have 10% without an economic feasibility study and we will have a 10% affordable requirement in the zoning.
