Dear Lincoln Talk: Tomorrow is the last day of the Metro-Boston Diaper Drive (mbdiapers.org). If you have loose diapers, you can drop them at my North Lincoln home (email for my address) or at the bin in the Lincoln Library. Thank you to those who have donated already! So far almost 30,000 diapers have been collected, but according to the American Academy of Pediatrics, a child will go through 8,000 diaper changes before potty training (3,000 in the first year alone!), so many more are needed to help families receiving WIC assistance.
