Lean, We are on the regular baseball bat route and used to frequently have to repair or replace our mailbox, especially after warm summer weekends. They can hit it as hard as they want and it doesn’t show a scratch. Later we added a pivoting mount<https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MQIOF5J/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1> and it now just swings out of the way when hit by a bat (or a plow).
