Lean,

We are on the regular baseball bat route and used to frequently have to repair
or replace our mailbox, especially after warm summer weekends. We invested in a
heavy-duty mailbox similar to this
one<https://www.amazon.com/Architectural-Mailboxes-5560W-R-10-Sequoia-Wallmount/dp/B0796JYW65/ref=sr_1_16?crid=EV2K851MQQEA&keywords=strong%2Bmailbox&qid=1702301344&sprefix=strong%2Bmailbox%2Caps%2C99&sr=8-16&th=1>
and have not had a problem since then. They can hit it as hard as they want
and it doesn’t show a scratch. Later we added a pivoting
mount<https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MQIOF5J/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1>
and it now just swings out of the way when hit by a bat (or a plow).

Hi Lincoln,

I live on Trapelo Road, and last night our mailbox was damaged for the
second time this year (the first time being in early September). We aren't
sure if these are accidents or not, so I was curious to know if other
people noticed that their mailboxes were damaged last night.

Leann
