About the Flint
Homestead<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flint_House_(Massachusetts)>

The Flint Homestead, built by Ephraim Flint in 1709, has been a witness to and
a participant in the sweep of American history. A symbol of the region's
cultural identity, the property sits in the middle of one of the oldest
continuously operating family farms in the country, currently being run by the
tenth and eleventh generations.
It is connected with the founding of the town of Lincoln, the outbreak of the
American Revolution, the evolution of farming throughout the 19th and 20th
centuries, and the birth of modern-day land-use planning and land conservation
practices.
Acting as a symbol of preservation, perseverance and prospect, the Homestead
shows us the importance of maintaining a close relationship with the land, and
looking into the past in order to inform our future.
