Agreed.
Also, the intersection of Trapelo/Lexington is right before the intersection of
Trapelo/Minebrook, which is where parents park in winter to cross over with
their kids to sled on DeNormandie Hill….

I think given our roads the police do an excellent job.  I recall in years past
they were much more vigilant and I am not against that.  We have small winding
roads used for recreational use.  I often walk at night and the amount of cars
speeding and blowing the stop signs at the library is surprising to me.  I feel
we are fortunate to have a friendly, helpful and respectful police department.

[LincolnTalk] Speed limit and police presence on Trapelo Road
Good evening Lincoln Talk,

I was hoping to engage the community regarding the speed limit and police
presence on Trapelo Road. We were taking the family today to dinner, and like
many days, there was a police presence taking speed limits by Lexington Road
coming downhill where the speed is difficult to control. We are conscious of
this these days, but my overarching feeling is that they are typically pulling
over Lincoln residents where the risk of accident or untoward event is quite
limited.

Appreciate any input from the community.

Happy holidays to all.
