State Senate bill S.2838 (available here) is now in conference committee, to be merged with the House version. Sections 108 and 109 of S.2838 both call for MassPort to "promote commerce, economic prosperity, safety and security in and for the commonwealth while prioritizing environmental resilience and equity and reductions in greenhouse gas emissions." (Emphasis added.)
If/when you write your legislators, you could ask them to support these sections (and thank Sen Barrett and Rep Gentile for already supporting them). Not sure where Rep Peisch stands on this.

This is what is coming to Hanscom if we allow the proposed hangar expansion. Lovely trips for those who can afford it and lots of pollution for those around Hanscom Field who can not. A bill to change the Massport charter to force Massport to consider environmental impacts in projects like that proposed at Hanscom is now in Conference Committee to resolve differences between the House and Senate versions of a wide-ranging energy/environmental bill. Let your Senator and Representative know that you support inclusion of environmental impacts in the Massport planning process.
