....and to late smart. 4 years ago I bought 3 pear trees on sale at the end of the season.I planted them and they were doing great. Then 2 years ago I started putting in some Juniper "Sargenti" for ground cover in partial shade nearby. Oops! It turns out that there is a rust carried by the junipers in the winter that attacks the pears in the summer! I have 6 beautiful Juniper low growing shrubs that I bought for $40 each. They are your for $20 each, but you will need to dig them up and have a container for them. Sigh!
