| She makes her own case better than I. If you support Mara, find 3 other voters, make the case and make sure they vote ! We are so close to having the representation we deserve.

HAPPY LABOR DAY AND PARADE,
LOWELL SUN RUNS MUST-READ STORY
BEHIND THE STORY OF THE GOVERNOR'S COUNCILLOR ENDORSEMENTS, GOTV, AND
PARTY AFTER THE POLLS CLOSE!
Hi Everyone,
It’s incredibly exciting to be so close to primary day! Everywhere I go in the district, people tell me they have already voted for me. At Market Basket in Maynard, this fellow came up to me to tell me voted for me, and he’s telling his friends to vote for me too. Later that day a doctor told me his patient told him to vote for me. Folks are spreading the word, and I am very grateful! Don’t stop until the polls close. Email your friends with The Boston Globe’s endorsement, and tell them U.S. Senator Ed Markey, State Auditor Diana DiZoglio, Democratic Whip Katherine Clark, Congressman Seth Moulton, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, and Congresswoman Lori Trahan endorsed me too, because the choice is so clear. For the full list of my endorsements, click HERE.
This morning, I’m getting ready to join supporters to march in Marlborough’s incredible Labor Day parade! I’m incredibly proud of my endorsements from labor unions, including IBEW Local 103, Ironworkers Local 7, Merrimack Valley Central Labor Council, Plumbers & Gasfitters Local 12, State Police Association of Massachusetts, and United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America Local 2168. I’m looking forward to seeing a lot of members there, and you, and if you’d like to join us it’s not too late. Just email me at [email protected]. Even Walnut is helping us get ready!
Digging deeper to get the story behind the story on why four sitting Governor’s Councillors endorsed me, State House News Service spoke with Councillors Eileen Duff, Joe Ferreira, Terry Kennedy. The Lowell Sun ran the story, which includes a lot of background. It had nothing to do with "payback". As Councillor Duff said, "We need someone who can work with other people, and frankly understands the legal issues... and comprehends what's going on in meetings... I don't feel that District 3 has any representation right now. And they deserve it." Click HERE to read the whole story. The choice is crystal clear.
If you have not yet voted, make sure to get to the polls tomorrow, Tuesday, September 3rd! You can find your polling place HERE.
After the polls close, join us at The Mighty Squirrel in Waltham for a night to remember!
I can’t thank you all enough. All my endorsers, everyone who made a contribution, everyone who emailed their friends, sent postcards, put up a lawn sign, wore a button, joined us at standouts like this one in Billerica, and everyone who passed the word along that the Governor’s Council matters, and knows that this race matters a lot, you have all made an immeasurable difference!
We are still reaching out to voters. Yesterday I joined a party in Concord, spoke about my candidacy, and got more support! Concord attorney Dudley Goar summed it up beautifully in his letter to the editor of The Concord Bridge. “Mara will modernize the judiciary and ultimately reduce crime in the Commonwealth.” Read his very thoughtful letter HERE. The Concord Bridge also headlined their paper this week with a story on the race, calling it “a rematch for the ages”. Click HERE for the whole story.
Now, let’s win this thing!
