Can anyone recommend someone to appraise our house for insurance purposes? We are looking for an estimate of the replacement cost of the building.
That is not the same thing as an estimate of selling price, which would be provided by a real estate appraiser. Our insurance carrier would be willing to do an appraisal, but we are looking for an independent opinion. Thanks in advance. Mark
