Subject: SUNDAY EVENING FLOWERS AND PYO SEPT 15

Hi everyone.
Ari found the bones of a deer in the field near the fence.
Codman took six of their cattle back. The fly bag is replaced with a fly
strip. The hungry flies look for targets, humans walking.
The path that was green around the field is now dirt, the light is hazy and
reflecting a sombre green to brown mix. The trees are slowly going into
drought induced stress. FLocks of of birds mass and swoop the field, one
mash of black shapes swarms the tree over our driveway, plundering the
concord grapes that are way up high and leaving my car completely covered
in grapes and poop. The driveway looks like someone threw down a thousand
little blots of dark purple, the tree is now silent and still. A group
swarms over my head, from behind, the sound of a rubberband vibrating at
high pitch as their wings strum the air and then gone. I discover a grass
hopper is the one munching its way through the kale. Grasshoppers are a
design dream of shapes and lines. All I can do is admonish him. Touching
him in the early morning doesn't seem to discourage him...
The bees swarm the seven sons tree.

Flocking. swarming. mass color changing.

It is so hot and dry during the day.

You are invited to a small share on Sunday evening.
