TEDx Walden Pond is excited to be hosting our second annual TEDx event in Lincoln on Wednesday, October 23rd! This year we are featuring 10 speakers, including two amazing women from our community: Dr. Eden-Renee Hayes (Wayland) and Alida Zweidler-Mckay (Lincoln). We are so proud of the thought leaders in our local community - and think that you will be too!! Other talks will include perspectives on barnraising, resilience, curiosity, conflict management, love, your voice, and where your time goes. Our program also features dancers performing choreography by Rachel Linsky, and a humorous musical performance of "Anti-suffragist reasons," by members of the Concord Women's Chorus.
Our theme echoes Henry David Thoreau's beautiful quote: "It takes two to speak the truth: One to talk, and one to listen." This year, as our theme indicates, we will be focused on both speaking and listening in our search for compelling truths. We hope you will join us!
