Major candy companies like Hershey’s will put “may contain nuts” on the wrapper. Same with M & Ms. They don’t, but for legal reasons, they decided to do this. I have two (now adult) kids with food allergies, one of whom is allergic to peanuts, and as far as I know, you can venture into giving out chocolate from major without worries. But hey, I’m all in for Swedish Fish any day.
