Did you know there are 300 solar installations on homes and businesses in
Lincoln? We have put signs in front of some of the installations on our major
roads to highlight how wide spread solar powered homes are. Look for our
cheerful blue signs as you drive to the transfer station or do errands in town
this month.

Worried about plastic? Rest assured, Weston originated this project and shared
their signs when they were through. These signs are being reused with a little
touch of our own.

CFREE (Carbon Free Residential – Everything Electric) is a 13-person
subcommittee of the Lincoln Green Energy Committee (GEC). To mitigate the
climate crisis, we work to help Lincoln residents reduce their carbon footprint
through the adoption of a wide variety of measures. CFREE also informs
residents about state and federal incentives that help lessen the financial
impact of these changes.
