Do you love dogs but can’t manage a full time buddy? I am sending up a trial balloon about dog care for when we travel. I am considering “rehoming” a lovely 5yo salt and pepper poodle, about 45 pounds, well trained. She has been a successful breeding mom and now needs a rest. I know one of her offspring: smart, joyful, cozy. The mom in question needs minimal care- a walk a day (doesn’t need to be long, but can be) and companionship. She is low key (unlike many poodles) and human centered, but quite self-sufficient. I am looking for some weekend care and once-twice a year a two -three week stint. All will be planned way in advance. If this might work for you, please email me privately and I can send pictures and more details. Probably won’t get her until early summer. Thanks for considering.
