Companion Needed for Elderly Woman in Short-Term Rehab ASAP– $30/hrA kind and social elderly woman recovering from pneumonia and undergoing cancer treatment is seeking a compassionate companion at The Commons short-term rehab in Lincoln. The Companion will be filling in when family cannot be present. Responsibilities:- Encourage eating and hydration
- Provide emotional support and ease anxiety
- Assist with accessing necessary services (repositioning, PT, etc.)
- Offer companionship and conversation
Ideal Candidate:- Patient, empathetic, and social with a sense of humor.
- Comfortable assisting a bedridden patient (some hearing impairment)
- Reliable and attentive to the patient’s needs
Hours Available: Availability to start ASAP- Tuesdays: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Fridays: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Overnights: Hours TBD (seeking availability)
