Apply for a Lincoln Garden Club Grant!
The Lincoln Garden Club is a welcoming and inclusive organization founded in
1928 for educational purposes to promote interest in horticulture, design,
conservation, and beautification of the community.
Since 2005, the Lincoln Garden Club has awarded over $50,000 in grants to
support community projects such as:
Hiring an intern to develop a native plant bed in Station Park
Installing the hydration station in Station Park
Providing funds to the Town Tree Warden to plant the next generation of trees
along Baker Bridge Road and to plant trees near the Pierce House and on the
Lincoln School campus
Working with the Library Board to care for and propagate the iconic Catalpa
("twisted tree") growing in front of the Library
Partnering with the Conservation Commission and Lincoln Land Conservation Trust
to install a granite bench near Beaver Pond
Supporting pollinator gardens along the Magnolia Path
A Lincoln Scout project to build raised beds at Codman farm
Building raised pollinator gardens at the Lincoln School
For the 2025-2026 fiscal year, the Club has set aside up to $4500 to fund grant
proposals. In addition, the Club will award the Annual Gabrielle Brenninkmeyer
Award ($500).
Community members and groups are welcome to apply for a general grant by
partnering with a Garden Club member!
You do not need to partner with a member to apply for the Gabrielle
Brenninkmeyer Award!
Application deadline is March 31, 2025.
