Local (Malden).  Old but excellent.

Antique Steinway B (6'10") that I have played (yesterday too!) and love but don't have room for.

Rebuilt maybe 60 years ago. Clean and kept well.

Owned since then by my dear friend, a retired professional pianist now 103 years old [last played in public March 11, 2020].  She no longer lives at home and is selling the house and the piano.

Her realtor recommended a dealer who spruces them up somewhat then sells overseas.  He offered $1000.  My friend feels a more appropriate home is with someone local who appreciates it as the jewel of an instrument it is.  I agree.

It will sadly go to dealer, unless someone counter-offers and can move it almost immediately (I may be able to help you find a mover).  The house is going on the market this week and piano must go when house sells, if not before.

immediately if you have ANY interest and want to know more.  You can see/play it in Malden.  I have the key to house, authority to sell the piano, and am happy to show you or demonstrate the piano anytime.

Did I mention I love this piano?  Better than the one at Bemis IMHO.  Please keep it local so I can maybe visit it! 😉
