Or even the Lincoln Climate Action Plan?
The latter includes the following statement regarding the preservation of
trees:
 NR8: Continue protecting and preserving areas that provide
carbon sequestration, such as forests, wetlands, and meadows.

After several continuances, on April 22, 2025, the Planning Board approved
with a 4-1 vote, a site review proposal that will cut down at least 137
mature healthy trees on 3.8 acres to build a driveway and eventually one
house, decimating a living forest & all the creatures that live in it.
The many written & verbal objections by residents were acknowledged but not
addressed, instead choosing to interpret the Town bylaws (17.7 and 17.7.4)
that require preservation of the landscape in its natural state as meaning
that it referred to the landscape "in colonial times"!!

By refusing to even consider this a waiver-worthy case, 4 members of the
Planning Board have failed to uphold the values of the Town & the trust
placed in them by Townspeople. They have set a devastating precedent.

If you feel outraged by this development, please speak up- it's time to
restore Lincoln's identity as an environmentally-minded Town.
