Hi, Lincoln Talkers -- On Thursday, June 12, Lincoln's Tree Preservation Study
Group, the Lincoln Land Conservation Trust, and the Lincoln Conservation Department
will present a lunchtime Zoom talk by Matt Cahill of the MA Department of
Conservation and Recreation (DCR)' s Urban and Community Forestry Program. Matt
will review the many tools and resources for tree and forest preservation that the
DCR offers to communities and individuals, discuss various tree preservation
efforts in Massachusetts towns, and outline the DCR's Legacy Tree program. With
time for insights and Q&A, this program will inform our efforts to keep Lincoln
healthy, green, and thriving. To join the free Zoom webinar, please register at
this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/3l_GByPDSi6s-powD9y0Vg . Once
you register, a link to the actual Zoom will be sent to you. If you cannot attend
on June 12, but are interested in these topics, please do register -- we will be
recording the presentation and will make a link available after the session.
Massachusetts has a wealth of tree- and forest-related resources available, and
we're looking forward to this talk. We hope you can join us! Deb Howe Tree
