Hi all, While the vote on June 25 is a big one with both sides having strong opinions, the violation of privacy in the past weeks has been unacceptable. I am not posting to sway the vote, I am posting to beg anyone who is thinking of showing up at the Panetta property unannounced to voice their displeasure to kindly stay home. There have been multiple individuals that have found it appropriate to show up unannounced, drive past the no trespassing signs, and knock at the Panetta's door to give them a hard time over the past few weeks. This behavior is disgusting, unacceptable, and needs to stop. If you feel that you need to speak with them, I will be more than happy to share your contact information.
Additionally, there have been online articles posted by abutters claiming to have made an offer to purchase the Panetta property at asking price. This is an absolute lie being told in order to sway voters. There have been absolutely zero offers extended to any of the property owners. During the initial meeting where details were discussed, the town was described as being secretive and deceptive but somehow publishing an article about an offer being made when that is not true is somehow acceptable? I am simply asking for people to respect the privacy of the Panetta family and please refrain from sharing false information in am effort to sway the vote. Thanks, Brandon Newman
