I want to publicly thank the LincolnTalk Moderator for making herself publicly
available at a table outside the Special Town Meeting this week. Hooray, Margit!
LincolnTalk is not a town-sponsored or supported service; it exists only out of
the personal generosity of a couple with the required technical and
communication skills. It provides a forum for a variety of needs and concerns,
and helps connect a variety of citizens. However, it is not - and was never
intended to be - a substitute for Town Meeting.
If readers have ideas about how Lincoln's Town Meeting procedures and
communications could be strengthened, please share them with the Town Meeting
Study Committee (mail to:[email protected]) as we work over the summer to
review the results of our survey and prepare recommendations. And if you depend
on this list for information, please thank the founders and moderators directly.
