I had no trouble accessing Bemis or the Stone Church yesterday going northward. I simply asked the officer on duty and he waved me through.  I believe coming south, from Route 2 is impassable at some point as they have needed to dig up the road. In that case, I would come From route 2 via Baker Bridge to the flower pot and turn left to the officer. 

At least that’s how it was as of midday yesterday.

But I think I saw somewhere else that they will let you through if you say that's where you are going. I read that the main reason they don't want traffic going through is potential danger to the workers, so it sounds like the road isn't totally blocked off, they just want to limit traffic.
