I counted six round trips on Friday between Hanscom Field and Boston Common.
For public demonstration purposes in the Service’s 250th anniversary the
amazing V/STOL tilt wing helicopter-(prop) planes landed amid the beauty and
quiet of the Commons so kids and we taxpayers could be awed by the technology.

They seemed to travel in helicopter mode as the distance did not warrant a
switch of the wings/prop to airplane mode.
