Hello LincolnTalkers! The Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Anti-racism Committee of Lincoln is sponsoring a relay read of the US Constitution tomorrow night at 7pm in the school Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30. We have over 35 intrepid souls who will each read a portion of the founding document of our country and its 27 amendments. The evening will be MC’d by our special guest, Massachusetts’ inaugural Poet Laureate, Regis Gibson <http://www.regiegibson.com/>.
There will be refreshments available after the reading and room for small group discussions. If you love the experiment that is America, come join us as your friends and neighbors read the Constitution and we can talk about how relevant it is to us today. Unable to join tomorrow? The event will be recorded and availalbe on Lincoln Public Access TV (not in real time). I hope to see you there!
